“THE VOYAGE” the family is preparing for a fourteen-night cruise. Enzo, the eldest child, is fixated on bringing his PS4, while Oscar, the youngest and most intellectual, is more concerned about whether their Aunt Tammy will join them and the prospect of having his own room. The mother, still reeling from a recent divorce and the loss of her own mother, is also worried about Tammy, who is suffering from a heartbreak caused by a sudden breakup. Despite the excitement of the upcoming trip, there's an undercurrent of sadness as the mother reflects on her divorce and the struggle to remove her wedding ring, symbolising her difficulty in moving forward. Chapter two begins with the family's arrival at the cruise terminal, but Aunt Tammy is nowhere to be seen. The mother encounters friends and is immediately struck by the discomfort she feels around Rita's boyfriend, Henry, whose presence reminds her of the growing distance between herself and Rita.
