Mahtab Novel (Part 47)

Suddenly, I heardMahnaz's voice from behind the door. She said, "Dear Marjan, Mrs. Mahtab has woken up. She has gone to the bath. I'm waiting for you." I quickly composed myself, looked at myself in the mirror, wearing a flowerypurple dress with jasmineflowers that reachedmy knees, I stepped out of the room and knockedon the door. "Please come in," she said, and I entered. She was sitting on the wheelchair, gazing at the garden.
