Mahtab Novel (Part 10)

When the woman arrived, I heard footsteps from the upper room. I turned my gaze towards the sound and saw a man who appeared to be around thirty years old. He had a tall stature, an athletic body, wheatish skin, thin beard, and a well-defined bone structure. His gaze fell on me, He had piercing black eyes.

The man smiled, which seemed very pleasant to me. He raised one of his eyebrows and greeted us loudly as he approached us. Haj Asghar and I stood up when he came closer. He extended his hand, shook hands with Haj Asghar, and I intended to extend my hand as well, but I saw him sit down and I pulled back my hand. However, the man, as if he had noticed, gave a faint smile.
